1. I have the beep off. Furthermore, none of the buttons beep. The microwave is very strong; exercise caution because it probably outperforms your previous model. I’ve experienced a few flow overs. The “30 seconds” button is great.
The pre-set options for reheating things are still confusing to me. They frequently overfill the bowl. Additionally, the sensor is not performing as I would like.
But I do really enjoy it. Some reviewers criticized the lighting. And I’ll add that it can be challenging if the sun is shining from behind. You will adjust, though. In fact, you must look straight in.
2. It’s easy to change power levels with the straightforward touchpads, which I like. We’ve been using it for four months and really enjoy it. When used for the first time, a small amount of vapor from what I believed to be coating burn-off as a result of the manufacturing process did not occur again. 1. We’ve been using this microwave for a few months and are satisfied with it. It is very compact for the size of the interior of the oven, has a quiet, well-lit interior, and has useful defrost features. There are a few things that could be improved, including the printed labels being too small and difficult to read.) and would be nice if the quick 30-second button would auto-start after a brief delay. For quick zap microwaving, my holy grail is a 1-button 30-second control (check), the ability to add 30 seconds while cooking (check), and auto start after the 30-second button is pressed (not here). Perfect, aside from that.
2. Panasonic’s 1.2 cu. ft. 1200-watt microwave seems to have it all. Although it is only slightly wider than 20 inches, the turntable and cavity are both substantial, providing plenty of space for objects like casserole dishes to turn freely. This model stands out thanks to the inverter technology and the Genius feature, which detects steam and can determine when your food is cooked. With denser foods like frozen lasagna, an inverter-technology microwave that I previously owned did make a difference.
Smooth and almost mirror-like describe the exterior. I was only able to see my kitchen and my reflection in it, making it impossible for me to take a picture. I appreciate that the keypad is a conventional keypad with numbers. A 1-minute button was present on my previous microwave, which I frequently used. That is something I’ll miss. This one has a 30-second button, but you know, you have to press it twice to get to a minute. Quite labor-intensive, but not too. Only needs some getting used to.
